What bid4buy is

bid4buy is an independent catalogue of the public listings of Thailand’s auction houses — at present AUCT, Carro and SIA. We are not an auction house and not your agent: we are not affiliated with or endorsed by any of them, and we don’t sell vehicles, take bids or accept payments.

You cannot bid through bid4buy. To take part in an auction you register with the auction house itself and follow its rules.

Accuracy of the listings

• Listings are copied automatically from the auction houses’ catalogues and may be incomplete, out of date or change without notice.
• Translations of descriptions are made by machine and can contain mistakes; the original text is always one tap away.
• The auction house’s own catalogue, rules and fees prevail. Check every detail with the house and inspect the vehicle before you bid.

No advice or warranty

The information is provided “as is” for your orientation. It is not advice about any purchase. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for decisions or losses based on it.

Your account

• An account is free and personal: one person per account, and you must be 18 or over.
• You sign in with your password, with a one-time code or link sent to your e-mail, or with Google, Facebook or LINE. A password is optional; if you set one, keep it to yourself, do not pass it on and do not reuse it elsewhere. Keep your mailbox and those accounts safe too: whatever happens in a signed-in session counts as yours. If you think somebody else knows your password, change it on the account page at once.
• Give an address you really control — sign-in codes, account e-mails and alerts all go there.
• The account page lists your devices. Sign out any you don’t recognise and tell us if something looks wrong.
• You can delete your account yourself at any time; the privacy policy explains how and what happens to the data.

Plans and the beta

• There are three plans — Free, Pro and Dealer. What each one includes is listed on the plans page.
• There are no payments yet. Nothing can be bought on bid4buy and we never ask you for card details.
• During the beta every account has Pro for free. We will announce the end of the beta by e-mail at least 14 days in advance; after that an account without a granted plan continues as Free.
• Until payments exist we may grant a plan or withdraw it ourselves, for example for a test or a partner.
• If your plan goes down, what you already saved stays readable, but you cannot add above the new limit.
• The limits are described on the plans page and can change; we announce a change that takes something away.

Alerts

• If you watch a lot and alerts are on, we e-mail you when our copy of the catalogue shows a new auction date or start time, a lane and time for a pre-list vehicle, a withdrawn lot, or the same vehicle listed again.
• Alerts are best effort. We only send what our copy of the catalogue shows, we can be late or miss a change, and delivery depends on e-mail providers. Never rely on an alert alone — check with the auction house.
• Every alert e-mail has an unsubscribe link, and the account page has the switch.

Fair use

• Use the site and the CSV export for your own research and buying.
• Don’t copy the catalogue in bulk with automated tools, overload the site or try to get around its limits.
• Don’t resell or republish our data as a catalogue of your own.
• One person per account: don’t share an account and don’t open several accounts to get around the daily limits.

Blocking and deletion

We may block an account that breaks these terms — bulk copying, reselling our data, attacks on the site or abuse of the sign-in e-mails. A blocked account cannot sign in and its sessions end at once; write to [email protected] and we will tell you why.

If we delete a blocked account, its data takes the same path as a deletion you ask for yourself: erased 30 days later. We may also stop the service, or an account, with notice by e-mail; you can delete your account at any time.

Names, logos and photos

Auction house names and vehicle brands are trademarks of their owners. Vehicle photos belong to the auction houses or their owners. The bid4buy name, logo and design are ours.

Links to other sites

The “View on …” button opens the auction house’s own website, whose terms and privacy rules apply there.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the current version, and the version you accepted is stored with your consent. Details of the operator and the governing law will be added after legal review. Contact: [email protected].
